Goodman Law purchases EBA Yass
.For the last forty years, 122 Comur St in Yass has been the law office of Elrington and Elrington and more recently EBA Lawyers. Now it is the home of Goodman Law.
"Having recently purchased the legal practice of Philip and Co in Yass, Goodman Law has now acquired the EBA Yass practice. Whilst our head office is in Canberra, we have a strong connection to the area and to rural clients." said Steven Gavagna, Principal Director of Goodman Law. "We had a really positive reaction from past Philip and Co clients to the high quality legal services that we provide, so this latest change was a natural solution for our Yass-based clients.
"Prior to getting my law degree I had been a builder" explained Steven."i know what it is like to run a small business. I also know what it is like to live on land, having lived on a small farm outside of Goulburn for five years prior to moving to our property near Bungendore for ten years." These experiences shaped Steven's passion to provide regional areas with great service. "Goodman Law is the only non-national law firm in Canberra to have Law 9000 certification," said Steven, adding "This means we can assure our clients of quality and consistency."
The transaction between Goodman Law and EBA was conducted in very good spirit. The offices of EBA Canberra and Queanbeyan are unaffected by the change.
As an independent law firm focusing on the personal needs of clients and the commercial and property needs of small to medium businesses, Steven believes Goodman Law is a good match for Yass. "We can take care of personal requirements like wills and property transactions," explained Steven. "We also handle complex commercial issues such as sub-divisions, tax, water rights, company and trust advice."
Steven is happy to take calls from EBA Yass clients to explain the change to them. "You can call me on 6226 7100 if you have any queries about how these changes will affect you," assured Steven Gavagna.
